Industrial development of synthetic leather

Chinese governments at all levels attach great importance to the development of their own synthetic leather industry. Since the reform and opening up, synthetic leather has experienced double-digit growth every year, and the synthetic leather industry is booming. Synthetic leather has now largely replaced natural leather with insufficient resources and has been more widely used. China has become a global synthetic leather producer, with production companies mainly concentrated in coastal cities such as Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Shandong.

Production base, this unique economic environment provides a broad market space for the development of Wenzhou synthetic leather. The rapid development of artificial leather and synthetic leather industry in Wenzhou area reflects the rapid development of China's artificial leather and synthetic leather industry from one side. Artificial leather and synthetic leather enterprises in Wenzhou area accounted for 38.8 production lines of the total number of domestic production enterprises, accounting for 47%, almost controlling half of the entire industry.

From January to November 2007, China's plastic artificial leather and synthetic leather manufacturing industry achieved a cumulative industrial output value of 41,452,568 thousand yuan, an increase of 25.17 over the same period of the previous year. Achieved cumulative product sales revenue of 40,175,486 thousand yuan, an increase of 23.37 over the same period of the previous year. The total amount was 1,292,890 thousand yuan, an increase of 41.94 over the same period last year.

From January to February 2008, China's plastic artificial leather and synthetic leather manufacturing industry achieved a cumulative industrial output value of 6,439,343 thousand yuan, an increase of 16.20 over the same period of the previous year. Achieved cumulative product sales revenue of 6,292,645 thousand yuan, an increase of 19.65 over the same period of the previous year. The total amount was 184,794 thousand yuan, an increase of 52.07 over the same period last year.
